3. Slide the inner-chassis rails into the outer-rack rails, keeping the pressure even on both sides. Depress
the locking tabs when inserting.

4. Push the chassis completely into the rack. You should hear the locking tabs "click" when in position.
5. Tighten the thumbscrews that hold the front of the chassis to the rack.
Note The thumbscrews are already attached to the front of the chassis.

6. Install both controllers into the same slots in the replacement chassis as the old chassis.
7. Replace all cables, ensuring that they are put back into the proper ports. See Step 2 of To remove a
chassis .
8. Transfer the disk drives from the old chassis to the replacement chassis in the same configuration. See
Replacing FASTier drives on page 22 and Replacing data disks on page 18.
