System Maintenance Commands

15.3.9 show logging buffered
This command displays buffered logging (system startup and system operation logs).
Format
show logging buffered
Mode
Privileged EXEC
Admin Status
The current state of the in-memory log.
Component Filter
The component(s) from which received messages are to be
logged to the in memory log. Either a single component id or
“all components” may be specified.
Wrapping
Behavior
The behavior of the In Memory log when faced with a log
full situation.
Log Count
The count of valid entries in the buffered log.
15.3.10 clear logging buffered
This command clears the messages maintained in the system log.

15.3.11 show logging hosts
This command displays all configured logging hosts.
Format
show logging hosts
Mode
Privileged EXEC
Host Index
(Used for deleting hosts)
Severity Level
The minimum severity to log to the specified address.
Port
Displays the server port number, which is the port on the
local host from which syslog messages are sent.
Host Status
The state of logging to configured syslog hosts. If the status is
disable, no logging occurs.
