C. A new battery or one that has not been used for a long
period of time will reach full power capability after approximately 3 -
5 charge and discharge cycles.
•
Remove the battery (5) from the device .
•
Plug the charger into a mains socket (230 V AC).
•
Insert the battery pack (5) into the charger (7).Check that the
battery pack is properly seated (pushed all the way in).
CAUTION
When the charger is plugged into a mains socket (230 V AC), the
green LED on the charger will light up to indicate that the voltage is
connected.
When the battery pack (5) is placed in the charger (7), the red
LED on the charger will illuminate to indicate that the battery is in
the process of being charged.
At the same time, the green battery charge status LEDs light up
pulsatingly in different patterns (see description below).
•
Pulse lighting of all LEDs - indicates battery depletion and the
need to recharge.
•
Pulsating illumination of 2 LEDs - indicates partial discharge.
•
Pulsating 1 LED - indicates high battery charge.
When the battery is charged, the LED on the charger lights up
green and all the battery charge status LEDs light up continuously. After
a certain time (approx. 15s), the battery charge status LEDs turn off.
The battery should not be charged for more than 8 hours.
Exceeding this time may damage the battery cells. The
charger will not switch off automatically when the battery is
fully charged. The green LED on the charger will remain lit.
The battery charge status LED will turn off after a period of
time. Disconnect the power supply before removing the
battery from the charger socket. Avoid consecutive short
charges. Do not recharge the battery after using it for a short
time. A significant drop in the time between necessary
recharges indicates that the battery is worn out and should
be replaced.
Batteries become warm during the charging process. Do not
undertake work immediately after charging - wait until the
battery has reached room temperature. This will prevent
damage to the battery.
BATTERY CHARGE STATUS INDICATION
The battery is equipped with a charge status indication (3 LEDs).
To check the charge status of the battery, press the battery charge
status indicator button. When all LEDs are lit, the battery charge
level is high. The lighting of 2 LEDs indicates partial discharge. The fact
that only 1 diode is lit indicates that the battery is exhausted and needs
to be recharged.
CONSTRUCTION AND PURPOSE
The cordless drill is a battery -powered power tool. It is driven by a
brushless DC motor together with a planetary gearbox. The drill is
designed for screwing and unscrewing screws and bolts in wood, metal,
plastics and ceramics and for drilling holes in the aforementioned
materials. Cordless, cordless power tools prove particularly useful for
interior work, room adaptations, etc.
Do not misuse the power tool.

SPINDLE BRAKE
The drill has an electronic brake that stops the spindle as soon as
the pressure on the switch button is released. The brake ensures
precision in screwdriving and drilling by not allowing the spindle to
rotate freely when switched off.
OPERATION / SETTINGS
ON/OFF
Switching on - press the on/off button (1).
Switching off - release pressure on the switch button (1).
Each time the on/off button (1) is pressed, the light is illuminated
LED (light emitting diode) (9) illuminates the work area.
SPEED CONTROL
The screwdriving or drilling speed can be adjusted during operation
by increasing or decreasing the pressure on the switch button (1).
Adjusting the speed allows a slow start, which, when drilling holes in
plaster or tiling, prevents the drill bit from slipping, while when
screwing and unscrewing, helps to maintain control of the work.
OVERLOAD CLUTCH
Setting the torque adjustment ring (3) to the selected position
permanently sets the clutch to the specified torque amount. When
the set torque amount is reached, the overload clutch is automatically
disengaged. This prevents the screw from being driven too deep or
damaging the drill-screwdriver.
SWITCHING ON THE STROKE
The screwdriver/driver is equipped with a switch for standard drilling
and impact drilling (11).
•
The drill symbol indicates normal drilling
•
The hammer symbol indicates impact drilling
TORQUE CONTROL
•
Different torque sizes are used for different screws and different
materials.
•
The torque is greater the greater the number corresponding to
the position .
•
Set the torque adjustment ring (3) to the specified torque amount.
•
Always start with a smaller torque.
•
Increase the torque gradually until a satisfactory result is
achieved.
•
Higher settings should be selected for screw removal.
•
For drilling, select the setting marked with the drill symbol. The
highest torque value is achieved with this setting.
•
The ability to select the correct torque setting is gained with
practice.
Setting the torque control ring to the drill position
deactivates the overload clutch.
INSTALLATION OF THE WORK TOOL
•
Set the direction of rotation switch (2) to the centre position.
•
By turning the ring of the quick-action chuck (4) counterclockwise
(see marking on the ring), the desired jaw opening is achieved,
allowing the drill or screwdriver bit to be inserted.
•
To fasten the implement, turn the quick-release chuck ring (4)
clockwise and tighten firmly.
Disassembly of the work tool is done in the reverse order of assembly.
When fixing the drill or screwdriver bit in the quick-action
chuck, make sure that the tool is positioned correctly. When
using short screwdriver bits or bits, use an additional
magnetic holder as an extension.
DIRECTION OF ROTATION CLOCKWISE - ANTI-CLOCKWISE
The direction of rotation of the spindle is selected using the rotation
switch (2).
Clockwise rotation - set the switch (2) to the extreme left position.
Left-hand rotation - set the switch (2) to the extreme right-hand
position.
