Cautions 1. Avoid direct connections among the IC device output (or I/O) pins and between V
DD
or V
CC
and
GND. However, direct connections among open-drain and open-collector pins are possible, as
are direct connections to external circuits that have timing designed to prevent output conflict
with pins that become high-impedance.
2. Product quality may suffer if the absolute maximum rating is exceeded even momentarily for any
parameter. That is, the absolute maximum ratings are rated values at which the product is on
the verge of suffering physical damage, and therefore the product must be used under
conditions that ensure that the absolute maximum ratings are not exceeded.
The ratings and conditions indicated for DC characteristics and AC characteristics represent the
quality assurance range during normal operation.
