
5–10 Print Status Window
Status Message
This box shows an error or status message and
corresponding icon. The display also tells you
what to do for each error or warning message.
The possible messages include:
Cover Open or Toner Cartridge Missing
Either your printer's cover is open, or there is no
toner cartridge in the printer. Insert a toner
cartridge, if necessary, and then firmly close the
printer's cover.
Duplex Printing
Duplex (double-sided) mode is enabled, and
SuperScript has finished printing on one side of
your document. Turn sheets over and reinsert
them into the paper hopper to print on the other
side. (For paper insertion details, see Chapter 3
Manual Duplex Printing.)
Engine Error
There is a problem with your printer’s engine.
Follow the instructions on the screen to correct
the problem. If the problem persists, call Cus-
tomer Support.
Engine is Warming Up
Wait until the engine has finished warming up.
Manual Cover Closed
Manual Feed has been selected for the current
print job; however, the Manual Feed Cover is
closed. Open the Manual Feed Cover to the
manual feed position and insert a sheet of paper.
