Cleaning the Printer

MAINTAINING YOUR PRINTER

THE

 P

RINTER

Clean the printer about every month. A thorough cleaning 
consists of wiping out the inside Toner Cartridge area, 
cleaning the internal laser scanning unit, and cleaning the 
outside of the printer.

Carefully follow these directions.

1.

Turn off the printer. Open the Top Cover (A).

2.

Remove the Toner Cartridge (B) . 

3.

Using a soft lint-free cloth, gently wipe the internal toner 
cartridge area (C) .

4.

Detach the Laser Brush (D)  and slide it horizontally 
across the laser scanning unit track as shown (E).

5.

Replace the Laser Brush.
