Output Bin Full Remove paper from output
bin (Output Tray).
Tray 2 Paper
Mismatch Configure the Operator
Panel so the printer can use
the paper size installed in
Tray 2 (500-sheet
Cassette).
Tray 3 Paper
Mismatch Configure the Operator
Panel so the printer can use
the paper size installed in
Tray 3 (500-sheet 2nd
Cassette).
Warming Up Wait until the Ready
message appears. The
printer will process print
jobs after reaching
operating temperature.

inserted in the printer.

Invalid Cartridge Replace existing toner
cartridge with a
SuperScript 1800 Toner
Cartridge, Order # 20-140.
To order a new one, call
800-632-2326.
Check parallel cable. Assure the parallel cable is
securely connected.

The “Check parallel cable” message will also appear
when the printer is busy processing a print job that is
being received from an interface other than the parallel
port. For example, if print job is being received through
an Apple LocalTalk or IrDA interface, the printer will
delay the job using the parallel port until the one using
the other interface is completed.
