7-2. Setup
(1)
Put a PnP floppy disk in Drive A of the personal computer and start it up. The condition of PnP writing
and the inspection work menu are displayed at the monitor.
(2)
Turn on the power supply for the appropriate PnP jig.
At this step, confirm that the jig’s LED flashes. If it is kept lit without flashing, reclose the power supply.
7-3. Writing (Jig’s changeover switch moved to the VSYNC side)
(1)
Make selections of [WRITE] and [FILE SELECT] at the personal computer monitor. Then, select the
objective EDID data (*.edi) from [PARAMETER FILE SELECT]. (Table 7-1)
(2)
Remove the V sync of the RGB signal input entered in the jig.
(3)
Move the SW1001 socket to the side of Pin 3 on the I/O PWB (PWC-4213B) to enable writing.
(4)
Select [EXECUTE] on the personal computer screen and accomplish writing according to the instruc-
tions on the screen.
7-4. DDC1 check
(1)
At Pin 12 of the signal cable, confirm that the data of Table 7-1 are sequentially output in synchroniza-
tion with the rise of V.sync. One set of data (1 byte) consists of 8 bits. The ninth bit has no relation to
the data.
7-5. DDC2B check
(1)
Confirm at Pin 12 of the signal cable that the data of Table 7-1 are sequentially output according to the
clock signal (SCL) available at Pin 15 of the signal cable.
