METHOD OF ADJUSTMENTS
(14) Change over the input video signal to the DTC 1080i signal. Press the cursor key [<] or [>] of the
remote control to select [1080B] for [HDS] of the screen. Repeat the steps of 1-1 (3) to (11) above.
Return [HDS] to [1035i].
(15) Change over the input video signal to NTV 720P and repeat the steps of 1-1 (3) to (11) above.
(16) Change over the input video signal to NTV 480P and repeat the steps of 1-1 (3) to (11) above.
(17) Withdraw from the factory shipment setting mode. If a remote control for adjustments is used, move its
MAIN/SUB switch to the MAIN side.
2. Adjustment of +170V and +70V
(1) Using any video signal out of VIDEO input, DVD/HD input, and RGB/PC input, enter an input of color bar
and turn on the POWER switch of the main unit.
(2) Turn the volume control RV4 in the POWER unit, and make adjustments so that the voltage value between
TP3 (+170V output) and TP4 (GND) of the POWER unit is kept within the range of the “voltage specified for
the PDP module (CAUTION)
±
1V.”
(3) Confirm that the voltage value between TP2 (+70V output) and TP4 (GND) of the POWER unit is kept within
the range of “+70
±
1V.” Otherwise, turn the volume control RV3 to make adjustments until “+70
±
1V” is
secured.
CAUTION : (1) The voltage value specified for the PDP module is the Vs value indicated on the label
shown below.

(2) When the REAR PANEL ASSY is removed, the label can be seen from the position shown
in the figure below.

3. Adjustment of +5V
(1) Using any video signal out of VIDEO input, DVD/HD input, and RGB/PC input, display a color bar.
(2) Confirm that the voltage value between TP1 (+5V output) and TP4 (GND) of the POWER unit is kept within
the range of “5.1

0.1V.” Otherwise, turn the volume control RV6 to make adjustments until “5.1
±
0.1V” is
secured.
