Check the waveforms at TPG4 and TP-G and make adjustments by pressing the cursor key [<] or [>]
so that a waveform as shown in Fig. 3-4 can be obtained. Arrange the Scale 15 to stay at the H level
and also Scales 13, 11, 9, 7, 5, and 3 to stay at the H level, and others at the L level.
Scale 15 (highest level) at the H level and the lower 7 scales also at the H level for every two scales

(10) Check the waveform at TPG3 again and confirm that it looks as shown in Fig. 3-3. If necessary, adjust
CONT and BRIGHT until the waveforms at TPG4 and TPG4 are secured as shown in Figs. 3-3 and 3-
4.
* If the values exceed [-32] or [+32] as a result of the adjustment of CONT or BRIGHT as described
above, lower this CONT or BRIGHT to “0.”
Since then, in the same manner as for (11) and thereafter, select [GB] and [GD] and make adjust-
ments to secure the waveforms as shown in Figs. 3-2 to 3-4.
(11) Press the PROCEED key in the factory shipment setting mode and assume the WHITE BALANCE
screen.
(12) Press the cursor key [^] or [v] of the remote control to select [RB].
(13) Connect the oscilloscope to TPR3 and adjust the waveform until it appears as shown in Fig. 3-2, in the
same manner as for (6) above.
(14) In the same manner as for (7) above, adjust the waveform until it appears as shown in Fig. 3-3.
(15) Press the cursor key [^] or [v] of the remote control to select [RD].
(16) Connect the oscilloscope to TPR4 and adjust the waveform until it appears as shown in Fig. 3-4, in the
same manner as for (9) above.
(17) Check the waveform at TPR3 again and confirm that it looks as shown in Fig. 3-3. If necessary, adjust
RB and RD until the waveforms at TPR3 and TPR4 are secured as shown in Figs. 3-3 and 3-4.
(18) Press the cursor key [^] or [v] of the remote control to select [BB].
(19) Connect the oscilloscope to TPR3 and adjust the waveform until it appears as shown in Fig. 3-2, in the
same manner as for (6) above.
(20) In the same manner as for (7) above, adjust the waveform until it appears as shown in Fig. 3-3.
(21) Press the cursor key [^] or [v] of the remote control to select [BD].
(22) Connect the oscilloscope to TPR4 and adjust the waveform until it appears as shown in Fig. 3-4, in the
same manner as for (9) above.
(23) Check the waveform at TPB3 again and confirm that it looks as shown in Fig. 3-3. If necessary, adjust
BB and BD until the waveforms at TPB3 and TPB4 are secured as shown in Figs. 3-3 and 3-4.
(24) Withdraw from the factory shipment setting mode.
