7 RELAY INITIATE

NOTE
The following conditions must be met for Relay Initiate function:
•
The fax on the receiving party is either NEFAX805/635/637/647/655.
•
The receiving party must register the One Touch key or Group dial key for relay
function.
•
The receiving party must register one Speed Dial for send report.
5.7 Relay Initiate
Overview of the Relay Initiate function
Relay TX allows the operator to make one long distance call to a remote unit and the
remote unit will relay the message to one or more fax units in the local area. With this
function, you can save valuable time and telephone charges. This function can also instruct
the remote fax machine to send an TX Result report to one of its Speed Dial locations.
How to use the Relay Initiate function
1. Put the original document into the document
feeding tray.
2. Press the Function key.
3. Press ‘7’ to select the “RELAY INITIATE TX”.
The following message appears briefly to
confirm your selection.
4. Select a One-Touch key that registered as the
remote fax unit(Relay station).
