MESSAGE LIST .
The following boxed messages are displayed in the center of the screen.
WARNING
FAN HAS STOPPED!!!
Conditions: One or more of the fans located within the projector
has stopped.
The projector power will be switched off in about 15
seconds. (Error code E0)
Countermeasures: A fan operation check is required. Please contact a
service person.
ABNORMAL CORRECTION DATA
Conditions: The amount of correction for the various adjustment
items has become abnormally large. Left as is, a
burden will be placed upon the projector; therefore,
measures have been taken to protect the projector.
The data of the adjustments which were performed
when the message was displayed have been set to
0%, (i.e., the data are not stored).
Depending on the circumstances, the projector power
might be switched off about 2 seconds after the
message appears. (Error code F8)
Countermeasures: Please review the amount of correction for the
various adjustment items.
Also, check with service personnel to ensure that the
projector is placed properly.
“RANGE OVER”
“RANGE OVER” is displayed in the portion of
the gauge that displays the percentage.

Conditions: This message might be displayed at the time of the
CONVERGENCE, FOCUS (EDGE SEPARATE),
and WHITE-BAL adjustments. Should this display
appear, further increases or decreases in the amount
of correction will not reflect a change of the data on
the screen.
Countermeasures: Please review the amount of correction for the
various adjustment items.
The various data correlate with the adjustment
(setting) data of ALIGNMENT, FOCUS (EDGE
ALL), and COLOR TEMP., and changes to this data
result in changes to the range over which “RANGE
OVER” occurs.
H-FREQUENCY LIMIT OVER!!
POWER WILL BE SHUTDOWN
CANNOT ENTRY!!
AN INPUT SIGNAL IS DIFFERENT FROM
THE SELECTED CONTENTS
IN SIGNAL ENTRY WINDOW.
Conditions: Higher frequency than the projector supports has been
input.
Countermeasures: Check if the connected source is supported by the
projector.
Conditions: This signal format (e.g. VIDEO or RGB) you are
trying to register does not match the optional input
board. The above message will be displayed only
when the connect condition is set to SW 1 or 2
LEVEL.
Countermeasures: Connect a VIDEO or S-VIDEO signal to the VIDEO
input board and an RGB or COMPONENT signal to
the RGB input board. Check the installed input board
and the slot number.
