NOTE
If you select the Enabled option, you’ll see
additional options that allow you to specify the Base
I/O address and IRQs for the port you’re
configuring.
Parallel Port
This option configures the system’s parallel port.
Choose “Auto,” “Enabled,” or “Disabled.” The
“Enabled” setting assigns LPT 1 378h, IRQ7, and
bidirectional mode.

Mode (Parallel Port)
This option sets the mode for the parallel port. The
options include “Output Only” (AT-compatible mode),
“Bidirectional” (PS/2-compatible mode), “EPP”
(Extended Parallel Port – high speed bidirectional) and
“ECP” (Enhanced Capabilities Port – high speed
bidirectional).
