Select ‘Assign’ a specific IP address and click ‘Next’.
Enter the IP address, subnet and gateway (if required) into the
boxes provided. Click ‘Next’.
Click ‘Assign’ and then ‘Finish’.
Comm Port Redirector
Double-click on ‘redirector.exe’ on the USB stick. This will
launch the installer to place the Comm Port Redirector on the
PC.
Run the Comm Port Redirector by selecting:
‘Start’ >’Programs’ >’Lantronix’ >’CPR 4.1’ >’CPR Manager’.
The following window should open:
Select ‘Comm Port’>’Add and Remove’ from the drop down
menus. This opens a window showing used and available serial
ports.
Select an unused (i.e. not greyed out) Com Port. Com5 has
been selected above. Click OK.
The new com port should appear in the list on the left. Click
on it. This should open the settings in the right hand panel as
shown below:
