Lightly pull the starting handle till you feel a slight resistance (
fig.10
)
Pull forcefully to start the gasoline engine
After starting, let the engine run 1-3 minutes at idle speed.
Meanwhile, check the engine’s working condition: whether it runs stably and
smoothly or whether there is any abnormal noise,
Open the choke to maximum
Adjust the throttle opening to obtain required speed.
TO STOP ENGINE
CAUTION:
For your health, when running engine, keep yourself far away from
the muffler and don’t face exhaust outlet.
Listen and watch for abnormal engine behavior. If you find abnormal sounds,
grating, vibration, serious traveling, and backfiring, etc., stop the engine at once.
Remove the safety ignition key from the panel of snow thrower, the engine will
stop immediately.
NORMAL CORRECT ENGINE STOP:
Remove load, i.e. stop using the snowthrower
Allow to run at idle for 2-3 minutes
Remove the safety ignition key from the panel of snow thrower.
