Description:
The Embedded Protocol Analyzer records and analyzes various protocols on the B-
channel, D-channel and DTE-DCE interface. The Embedded Protocol Analyzer is
useful as a diagnostic tool, in that essential data messages are displayed. This
offers the ability to observe interactive operations of the ProxyServer, Central
Exchange, and remote communications equipment.

Data Directory Number (DN)

Description:
The !N1 command sets the directory number (DN) for the data channel. The
directory number is a telephone number that is assigned to the ProxyServer at
subscription time by the ISDN service provider. The DN is a string of up to 24
characters; valid characters are 0–9, the * character, and the # character.
