Preconditions

Engine is stopped and starting disabled.

NOTICE

Cold coolant in hot engine can cause thermal stress.
Possible formation of cracks in the engine!
• Fill / top up coolant only into cold engine.

Variant 1: Filling coolant
through filler neck on expansion
tank

Turn valve cover (1) on expansion tank on the
left to the first lock and release pressure.

Continue to turn valve cover counterclock-
