8.13.8 Exhaust pressure sensor – Measuring lines check

Preconditions

Operating voltage is switched off.

Rotating, moving engine parts.
Danger of crushing, danger of body parts being drawn in or caught!
• Ensure that the engine can not be started.
• After completion of work, make sure that all protective devices are installed.

Exhaust pressure sensor –
Measuring lines check

1.

Switch off engine and engine governor.

2.

Pinpoint the applicable connector on SCR
catalytic converter:
• Pressure sensor (1) is connected to SCR

inlet of pipe A via measuring line (3)

• Pressure sensor (2) is connected to SCR

outlet

3.

Disconnect connectors from sensors.

4.

Connect test adapter between wiring harness
connector and sensor.

5.

Switch on system – do not start the engine.

6.

Measure voltage, replace sensor if necessary.
