Loop Loading Rules for MA-1000 1200
Standards Limitation
We therefore allow 200 devices on each loop but limit the maximum number of addressable device on a
panel to 400 totals.
Memory
MA-1000 has extremely powerful output device control capabilities, every output device can be programmed
to provide up to three stages of separate cause and effect programming.
This level of programming requires a large amount of memory to store all the settings and because the
amount of memory is finite, the system has to be restricted to a maximum of 80 outputs made up from
up to 70 sounders per loop (count as 1 output) and 20 output devices of any sort (these all count as 3
outputs)
e.g. 60 sounders and 20 IO’s would be 120 outputs, 70 sounders and 16 IO’s would be 118 outputs.
The rules governing total load still apply
Input devices such as t-Tap do not need to be counted.
