When user has prepared blank standard solution, put relevant ion selective electrode and temperature
electrode into solution, wait till reading is stable, press ‘ENTER’, meter will calculate blank
concentration value and store it automatically. Press ‘CANCEL’ key, meter returns to direct reading
concentration measurement mode.
During Calibration, you could press ‘CANCEL’ key any time to exit the calibration and return to
direct reading concentration measurement mode.
Note:
1. In blank calibration, all blank solution should be similar with the blank solution in chemical
analyze.
2. There is blank calibration in direct reading concentration mode and STD addition mode.
Detailed operation is the same as the measurement mode.
Clear Blank Concentration
If you want to clear previous blank concentration value, you can select this function.
4.9. Conductive Measurement
Meter allows measure conductivity, resistivity, TDS and salinity value. Within all measurement
range, it has automatic temperature compensation, automatic calibration, automatic range
switching and automatic frequency switching, etc…
Note:
1. When measure conductivity and TDS, connect temperature electrode, according to set
temperature coefficient, meter will automatically compensate conductivity to the value based
on 25
℃
. If you don’t connect temperature electrode, meter displays the original conductivity
of measured solution which is not been compensated.
2. When measure salinity, connect temperature electrode, meter will automatically compensate
salinity to the value on 18
℃
. If you don’t connect temperature electrode, meter displays the
original salinity of measured solution which is not been compensated.
4.9.1. Conductivity Measurement
Please be noticed before measure conductivity:
1. Selection of conductive electrode
The conductive electrode with constant 1.0, 10 has two styles: ‘bright’ and ‘platinum
black’, electrode cast with platinum is usually called platinum black electrode. Better
measurement range for bright electrode is 0 ~ 3000μS/cm. If the range exceeds 3000μS/cm,
measurement error will be big.
2. When measure high conductivity, usually adopts conductive electrode with high constant.
When conductivity ≥ 200.00mS/cm, you should adopt the electrode with constant 5 or 10.
When conductivity ≥ 500.00mS/cm, you should adopt the electrode with constant 10.
