Measurement and display will be slightly different according to measurement mode. During
measurement, you can re-calibrate electrode, setup measurement parameter. After measurement,
you can store, print measured data. Press ‘CANCEL’ to finish measurement.
4.10.1.
DO Electrode Calibration
In order to get precise measurement result, dissolved oxygen electrode should be calibrated
before measurement. Meter has several calibration functions such as zero oxygen calibration and
full scale calibration.
Under DO measurement mode, press ‘SETUP’ key, select ‘Cali’ and confirm. You can start to
calibrate dissolved oxygen electrode which is displayed as the chart.
On upper side of the screen is active DO electrode
current, concentration value of DO and active
temperature value.
In the middle are active Air Pressure and Salinity
value.
At the bottom is calibrate result.
Zero Oxygen Calibration
Clean DO electrode with distilled water and insert into 5% fresh Na
2
SO
3
solution.
When reading stable, press ‘ZERO’ key and then press ‘ENTER’ key, meter will automatically
record zero oxygen value, zero oxygen calibration finishes.
Full Scale Calibration
Take out dissolved oxygen electrode from solution, clean with water and dry it with filter paper
carefully, place in air and make sure there is no water on the surface of electrode.
Meter enters into dissolved oxygen calibration status, press ‘FULL’ key when reading is stable,
press ‘ENTER’, meter automatically records full scale value and full scale calibration finishes.
5. Maintenance
5.1

Meter must have good grounding and should avoid corrosive gas.
5.2. Battery should be taken out if meter will not be used for long time.
5.3. For some uncertain reason, meter is not able to turn on. Please unpack the back cover and replace
the battery.
5.4. The socket should be kept clean, dry and could not be touched with acid, alkali, salty solution.
5.5.Meter can be used stably for long time. After measurement the sample, all electrodes should be
immersed in distilled water.
