5.6.When meter is not be used, please connect it with short circuit to avoid any damage of the meter.
5.7.For the measurement of ion selective electrode, please refer to relevant material and obey strictly.
5.8.Improper use of conductive electrode will cause abnormal working condition of meter. Please
keep conductive electrode immersed into solution totally. Please take care that the place to install
conductive electrode should be: avoid to be installed in ‘dead’ corner, it should be installed in the
place with good water cycling.
5.9.For the measurement of high pure water, it should be done in close and flow status. The direction
of water flow is – water can flow into but the flow shouldn’t be too speedy.
5.10.If conductivity exceeds 3000μS/cm
，
bright electrode could not measure correctly. At this time,
please exchange to platinum black electrode to measure.
5.11.When DO electrode is not be used, please keep the electrode in boiled and cooled distilled water.
Please avoid immerse electrode into Na
2
SO
3
solution. In case the electrode is soaked with Na
2
SO
3
solution, the electrode will be damaged.
5.12.When the output of DO electrode which is newly installed with electrolyte and membrane is low
and not able to calibrate, if connect DO electrode to meter and turn on meter for 5 minutes,
meter’s displayed reading is still not to reach your needed value, there are two possibility: One is:
membrane is not stick tightly to golden negative pole. Another is: the surface of golden negative
pole is not wet. You can knock lightly the oxygen electrode on table or chair. If reading is increase,
it means the function of electrode recovered. Otherwise, you have to exchange membrane.
5.13.After 5 minutes electric depolarization, if the zero oxygen guideline of DO electrode is higher
than technical condition, it is probably caused by the damage of negative pole. Check if there is
hollow and holes on the surface of golden negative pole and also check if the surrounding of
golden negative pole is disconnected with basement.
5.14.If all above conditions not exist but meter still do not work, please contact with our company.
