For normal standard buffer solution, you can use automatic distinguish function. To match with
previous STD group set before, meter can automatically distinguish these standard buffer solutions.
You don’t need to change distinguish method to calibrate (if it can not be distinguished, meter will
remind: wrong calibration and request user to exchange electrode or to re-set STD group, or to
exchange automatic distinguish method to manual distinguish method, you can select either
according to the normal practice.)
If you use your own standard buffer solution (not normal STD) to calibrate electrode, you must
select manual distinguish method.
For example
, you have one standard buffer solution and the known pH value at 25
℃
is 2.704pH, at
25.1
℃
is 2.710pH, at 25.2
℃
is 2.720pH, we suggest stabilize the calibration temperature at 25
℃
.
When calibration starts, firstly setup distinguish method to ‘MANUAL’, wait till display stable,
press ‘ENTER’ key, meter will request user to input pH value at current temperature, if current
temperature is 25.2
℃
, please input 2.720pH and press ‘ENTER’ key. When input finishes, meter
will store current calibration data. The calibration of others is the same as this method.
If user either has normal standard buffer solution or has his own standard buffer solution then he can
operate separately according to automatic distinguish method and manual distinguish method.
b) Setup mV Resolution
You can select potential (mV) resolution, i.e. 0.1mV or 0.01mV.
Press F3(MEASURE) in the state of starting to enter into
System Message
mode;
Press F3(START) to enter into
Continuous Mode
mode and then press F2(SETUP);
Move cursor to “mV Resolution” by pressing F2 and then press “ENTER” key to set mV
resolution. When setting finishes, meter returns to measurement mode.
All units hereafter about
Setting mV Resolution
are operated according to this instruction.
d). Adjust Zero Point Potential
To ensure the high precision of meter, please adjust zero point potential before measurement.
Connect the meter with short circuit plug, when potential displayed value excurse from zero point
potential (0.00mV) far, you need to calibrate zero point potential.
Press F3(MEASURE) in the state of starting to enter into
System Message
mode;
Press F3(START) to enter into
Continuous Mode
mode and then press F2(SETUP);
Move cursor to “Adjust mV Zero” by pressing F2 and then press “ENTER” key, meter
reminds you ‘Adjust mV Zero?’, if you press ‘ENTER’ key to adjust zero point potential to
zero. Otherwise, press ‘CANCEL’ key to give up the operation and return to measurement
mode.
All units hereafter about
Adjust Zero Point Potential
are operated according to this instruction.
4.8.2. pX
Measurement
You can make pX measurement in correspondence to each ion mode. After selection of relevant ion
mode, you can start pX measurement.
