For example, if you have sodium ion electrode and want to measure sodium ion in solution, you
need to setup current ion mode as Na
+
mode in ‘Set Ion Mode’ then to begin normal measurement.
Otherwise there will be different measurement result. Before each measurement, please check if the
ion mode is match with actual measured solution and ion selective electrode. Please see
Set Ion
Mode
for detailed operation
Under starting state, if you have pX measurement parameter, then press ‘MEASURE’ key directly
to start measurement. Otherwise, you should press ‘START’ key, setup measurement mode and
select pX measurement parameter. (Please see
Set Measurement Mode
for details). The display is
as the following chart.
The displayed interface and operation are the same as pH
measurement mode.
Measurement and display will be slightly different according
to measurement mode. During measurement, you can re-calibrate electrode, setup measurement
parameter. After measurement, you can store, print measured data.
Press ‘CANCEL’ key to finish measurement.
When measurement finishes, press ‘CANCEL’ key to finish the measurement.

X Electrode Calibration
Note:
Before each measurement, suggest re-calibrate the electrode. When calibration starts,
previous calibration data will be recovered. Electrode should be re-calibrated after a period
of using.
Under pX measurement mode, press ‘SETUP’ , select electrode calibration and then press ‘ENTER’
key to calibrate electrode slope, meter enters into calibration mode. The display is as the following
chart.
On upper half of the screen is current measurement data,
meter displays current pX value (slope is setup as
100.00%), potential value, temperature value and STD
value (pX value) in correspondence to current solution.
At the bottom of the screen is current STD result.
