System Configuration 3-19

The Add Ser ver Profile screen allows you to specify the RADIUS ser ver and its authentication credentials to
be associated with your VLAN.

•

Profile Name

– Enter a descriptive name for the profile, up to 35 characters.

•

Remote Server Addr/Name

– Enter the IP address or fully qualified ser ver name.

•

Remote Server Secret

– Enter the ser ver CHAP secret.

•

Alt Remote Server Addr/Name

– If you have an alternate RADIUS ser ver, enter the IP address or

ser ver name here, as above.

•

Alt Remote Server Secret

– If you have an alternate RADIUS ser ver, enter the ser ver CHAP secret

here, as above.

•

RADIUS Identifier

– Enter the RADIUS Network Access Ser ver (NAS) identifier. The default NAS identi-

fier is an ASCII representation of the ser ver’s base MAC address.

•

RADIUS Server Authentication Port

– Ordinarily, the RADIUS ser ver por t number is 1812. If you are

using a different por t number, enter it here.

Select

ADD PROFILE

and press Return. You will be returned to the Add VLAN screen.
