Adding Wi-Fi Networks
You can add a Wi-Fi Network that does not broadcast its name (SSID), or is currently out of range.
Procedure:
1 Tap → → Wi-Fi .
2 Adjust the Wi-Fi slidebar.
3 Tap → Add network .
4 In the Network name field, enter the network
<SSID>
.
5 Choose one of the following:
If… Then…
If you want to add an open network, perform the following actions:
a Expand the Security drop-down list and
select None .
b Expand the Advanced options drop-
down list and set the Proxy settings.
c Tap Save .
If you want to add a WEP-secured net-
work, perform the following actions:
a Expand the Security drop-down list and
select WEP .
b Set password.
c Expand the Advanced options drop-
down list and set Proxy and IP settings .
d Tap Save .
If you want to add a WPA/WPA2 PSK-se-
cured network, perform the following actions:
a Expand the Security drop-down list and
select WPA/WPA2 PSK
b Set password.
c Expand the Advanced options drop-
down list and set Proxy and IP settings .
d Tap Save .
If you want to add a 802.1x EAP-secured
network, perform the following actions:
