Setting Description
Auto capitalization Automatically capitalize the first letter after a pe-
riod.
Block offensive words Blocks offensive words from being suggested to
correct words.
Suggest contact names Allows the device to use names from Contacts
for suggestions and corrections.
Double-space period Double tap on spacebar inserts a period fol-
lowed by a space.
Gesture Typing
Enable gesture typing Allows the user to enter a word by sliding trough
the letters.
Show gesture trail Allows you to see the trail of your gestures.
Enable gesture delete Allows you to delete words by sliding left from
the
Delete key.
Enable gesture cursor control Allows you to move cursor by sliding across
space bar.
Dictionary
Personal Dictionary Uses your personal dictionary when correcting
words.
Add-on dictionaries Allows you to add additional dictionaries to cor-
rect words.
Sync learned words Allows you to save learned words to use across
devices.
Delete learned words Clears learned words from this device and
backups.

Emoji for physical keyboard Physical Alt key shows the emoji palette.
Show app icon Displays application in the launcher.
Share usage statistics Automatically send keyboard usage statistics to
Google.
