Emergency Services
Emergency Mode indicates a critical situation. The emergency alert signal overrides any other
communication on the LEX device. You are able to initiate an Emergency at any time on any screen
display even when there is activity on the current channel.
Enable Emergency Mode by pressing the power button on the LEX device. See
NOTICE:
Contact your System Administrator to set up other emergency alert notifications if
required.

Emergency Notification Settings for LEX
Access to Emergency Notification settings may be available through the Emergency settings on the
device. Preference settings allow the user to configure Emergency audio, visual, messaging, and
location notifications on the device.
NOTICE:
Additional applications provided from Motorola Solutions are required to configure
Emergency Notifications for Emergency on the LEX device. If you are unable to configure
Emergency audio notification settings on the LEX device, contact your device technician.

Prerequisites:
Additional applications provided from Motorola Solutions are required to configure
Emergency Notifications on the LEX device. If you are unable to configure Emergency audio
notification settings on the LEX device, contact your device technician.
When and where to use:
Follow this procedure to set emergency audio notifications on the device.
