sécuritaire sur le toit de votre véhicule;

Mount your sports and outdoor gear onto the MOS UpLift™ using the appropriate load carriers and mounting

accessories. It is your responsibility to follow these instructions and guidelines for all systems installed on your

vehicle:

•  If the user’s guide for your mounting accessories or load carrier does not mention their respective load

capacities, contact the manufacturer before installing the MOS UpLift™.

•  At no time should you install anything other than what your roof rack, load carriers, attachment accessories,

and MOS UpLift™ were designed for.

•  Always mount your gear so that the centre of gravity is as close to the roof of your vehicle as possible.

•  The gear mounted onto the MOS UpLift™ should be parallel with the direction of your vehicle and as close

to the centre of your roof as possible.

•

The MOS UpLift™ is only compatible with load carriers and attachment accessories that have either 3.5 in

(8.89 cm) or larger bar attachments or 20 mm T-slots. Only equipment and load carriers that are 26 in (66

cm) wide or less can be mounted onto the MOS UpLift™.

•  MOS does not yet design its own load carriers or mounting accessories, it is the responsibility of the user

to ensure the compatibility of roof racks, attachment accessories, load carriers, and equipment with the

MOS UpLift™. You can validate their compatibility on the website at

www.mosracks.com

.

•  To purchase and install all of your load carriers and mounting accessories onto the MOS UpLift™, we

recommend that you visit a retailer specialized in the sale and installation of this type of equipment to

ensure optimal safety and proper operation of the MOS UpLift™.

•  When the MOS UpLift™ is mounted onto the roof of your vehicle, it increases the height of your vehicle by

24 in (61 cm) from the roof bars. Always consider this factor when driving, or in height-restricted areas.

•  When loading and unloading your gear on the MOS UpLift™, always ensure that there is sufficient clearance

to avoid the risk of damage, injury, or accident.

•  It is your responsibility to ensure that you comply with all applicable traffic laws and standards at all times.

•  Always check local, state (or provincial), and national laws and regulations on the installation of equipment

on the roof of the car (passing objects on the side of the car, type of equipment that can be mounted onto

the roof of a vehicle) before driving, etc.), or any other applicable laws and standards.

•  Always make sure all safety devices, latches and handles are securely closed and locked before driving.

•  Before driving, vigorously shake the MOS UpLift™ and the gear loaded on the roof of your vehicle to

ensure that it is securely fastened. If you find any slack, re-tighten all fasteners and attachments on your

gear, including handles, fasteners, nuts, bolts, and other components. If you notice any discrepancies that

could cause an incident, remedy the situation before driving and ensure that your equipment is securely

fastened to the roof of your vehicle.

In the event that mounting the MOS UpLift™ does not follow the guidelines and instructions of your vehicle,

roof rack, attachment accessories, cargo carrier, or any other system installed onto your vehicle, do not

mount it and contact our customer service department by email at

[email protected]

 or via the

chatbox on the website.
