UpLift™, ou votre système de support de toit ne semblent pas en bon état;

•  Ne modifiez en aucun cas le MOS UpLift™. Toute modification au MOS UpLift™ entraîne l’annulation de la

garantie MOS et libère MOS de toute responsabilité;

At all times, the user is responsible for the proper and safe installation and use of the MOS UpLift™ and all gear

and systems installed on the vehicle, including, but not limited to, ensuring compliance with load capacities

and maximum dimensions, road laws and standards, or any other applicable regulations, as well as safe

installation throughout the transportation of the various equipment mounted onto the vehicle roof. Subject to

applicable laws, MOS disclaims all liability for improper use of the MOS UpLift™, whether in contravention of

this User’s Guide or any other instructions and warnings available to the user, applicable laws, and standards,

as well as the characteristics and capabilities of the vehicle and the roof rack on which the MOS UpLift™ is

installed. In addition to the above instructions, when using the MOS UpLift™ roof racks, you should take the

following precautions to make your roof rack easier to use and safer to operate:

•  The MOS UpLift™ is designed to be used on the roof of vehicles intended for the transportation of persons

only. Under no circumstances should the MOS UpLift™ be mounted onto a vehicle intended for the transport

of goods, such as a trailer, truck, van, etc.

•  Do not use the MOS UpLift™ for off-road driving.

•  Never use your roof rack, the MOS UpLift™, or any other system mounted onto the roof of your vehicle for

any purpose other than that for which it was designed.

•  Before mounting the MOS UpLift™ onto your vehicle, make sure that your vehicle is in perfect condition,

including, but not limited to, the roof of the vehicle, and that there are no signs of wear, breakage, or any

other anomaly. If not, do not mount the MOS UpLift™ onto the roof of your vehicle until the situation is

corrected.

•  The MOS UpLift™ is designed for installation exclusively on the crossbars of passenger vehicles. Under

no circumstances may the MOS UpLift™ be installed on any other type of system or on any other part of

the vehicle.

•  To ensure optimum safety and efficiency of the MOS UpLift™, always validate its compatibility with your

vehicle, roof rack, and any other system used with the MOS UpLift™ in the appropriate user guides and

safety instructions.

•  The MOS UpLift™ is a power lift system that complements roof rack (crossbars) accessories. No matter

what type of sports or outdoor gear you want to carry on the roof of your vehicle with the MOS UpLift™,

you need a basic roof rack system (crossbars) adapted to your vehicle as well as the appropriate load

carriers and attachment accessories.

•  If you do not have a roof rack system (crossbars), we recommend that you seek advice from an authorized

dealer or from our customer service department at

[email protected]

 to ensure optimum safety and

proper operation of the MOS UpLift™.

•  We do not recommend mounting the MOS UpLift™ onto standard roof racks. Standard roof racks from the

manufacturer of your vehicle are generally not strong enough to support the weight of the MOS UpLift™

and your gear.

•  Make sure that the crush resistance of your vehicle’s roof is not affected by the use of the MOS UpLift™ or

by mounting your sports and outdoor gear onto the MOS UpLift™.

•  At all times, you must ensure that the operation of your vehicle’s safety critical systems is not affected by

mounting the MOS UpLift™ or any other equipment or system onto your vehicle’s roof.

•  If you already have a roof rack system adapted to your vehicle, we strongly recommend that you have it

fully inspected by a retailer specializing in the sale and installation of a roof rack to ensure optimal safety

and proper operation of the MOS UpLift™.

•  Never install the MOS UpLift™ on a roof rack system that is unsafe, unsound, improperly installed, or does

not have the necessary load capacity.
