14. Head rest
The Natural Movement Head rest (manual) is the standard equipment.
The powered head rest has the same shape and movement range.
WARNING
Keep fingers, hair, clothes etc. away from the moving
parts of the head rest.
>>An injury could result from fingers being pinched or hair
etc. being caught in the moving parts.
WARNING
Support the headrest carefully to adjust its angle or push the slide bar in.
>>If the release button is pressed when the head rest is not supported, it could
suddenly fall down and this could injure the patient. Also sudden movement of
the head rest could injure t he patient ’s neck or head.

(1)Natural Movement Headrest
<Up and Down Slide Type>
The natural movement headrest has a movement pattern that matches the
human anatomy so that no stress is applied to the patient’s neck and his
head is held securely.
1)Slide Bar
The head rest slides in and out on a step less continuum.
Grip the head rest firmly, press the release button on the back rest,
and then slide it in or out. Let go of the release button to secure it in
place.
2)Angle Adjustment
No step adjustment within a specified range.
Press the release lever, move the head rest to the desired position,
and Then let go of the release lever.
