Press this to use the digital countdown timer. It can be set as high as
59 minutes and 59 seconds. Useful when taking impressions or giving an
anesthetic.
1)Set
Use the Set Switches to set the time.
a)Press the Timer switch to bring up the Timer display.
b)Use the cursor keys to select the digit to set.
c)Use the plus and minus keys to set the desired time.
Each press changes both minutes and seconds by 1.
Hold the key down to adjust seconds in 5-second increments.
d)After entering the desired time, the time will be stored in memory.
Press Enter and hold down for 2 seconds, the desired time will return
to 0 expressions.
2)Use
a)Press the Timer switch to bring up the Timer display.
b)Press the Enter switch to star t the countdown.
An alarm will start when the timer reaches zero. The alarm will
continue for 30 seconds and then stop.
Press Enter to turn the alarm off.
If you pick up an instrument while the timer is
running, the display will change to the one for the
instrument, but the timer will continue its count-
down.
Pressing the Timer switch will make the display
go back to the timer display.
