(2)Air Scaler

An air scaler can be connected to the air turbine system.
It will then operate in the same way as an air turbine.
Refer to number (1) above.
(1)Air Turbine Hand piece
1)Operation
Take the handpiece out of its holder and step on the foot pedal to op-
erate it.
It rotates at a constant speed. If the turbine is the optional variable
speed type, the range settings will determine its speed.
The chart to the right shows the speed ranges.(Refer to 2) below for
maximum speed setting.)
If a variable speed turbine is set for constant speed, it will run at the
maximum speed shown in the chart.
The chart to the right shows the variation in the air
pressure. This is not necessarily the same as the
speed.

3)Clean System
This prevents the vacuum effect when the hand piece stops running
and thereby prevents contamination being sucked into the system.
When the turbine stops,the IN side is closed and a little air flows out
of the OUT side for about 7 seconds.
