(2)Replacing the Halogen Lamp
WARNING
Do not get fingerprints on the halogen lamp. If fingerprints get on the lamp
wipe them off with a piece of gauze moistened with alcohol.
>>If the oil from fingerprints is left on the lamp, it could crack, and someone could
be injured by scattered fragments of glass.
Wait for the lamp to cool off before trying to replace it.
>>The lamp is extremely hot light after it has been turned off and could cause
burns if touched.
Do not use excessive force or push the lamp in at an angle.
Do not press down too hard when attaching the front cover.
>>Otherwise these parts may be damaged.
CAUTION
Replace the halogen lamp when it burns out.
Follow the steps below:
1)Turn off both the main switch and the light switch.
2)Take off the front cover.
See (1) 3) above.
3)Open the lamp cover.
Loosen the screw on the head side and pull the cover forward.
4)Take the old lamp out of its socket.
Pull it straight up to remove it.
5)Put it the new lamp.
Hold the new lamp with the protective bag it comes in and push its 2
leads straight down into the socket. Then take the bag off.
6)Reverse the above procedure. Close and secure the lamp cover.
7)Replace the front cover in its original position.
