19.3 • SERVICE AREA - PARAMETERS - DOOR LOCK (OPTIONAL)
Enter the PAR menu and select the parameter 178 to
manage the automatic door lock.
by default, the parameter value (that is the password)
is set to -1.
NOTE - by setting the value -1 as the password of the
parameter 178, the equipment require NO password
to disable the door lock. To set the password of the
door lock enter a value from 1 to 999 to the parame-
ter P178. The value setted will identify the door lock
password.
To enable the door lock, enter the parameter value as
a number other than 0.
NOTE - With 0, the door lock is released.
At the start of a cooking cycle the door lock is auto-
matically activated until the end of the cooking or up
to the beginning of a maintenance cycle at unlimited
time.
NOTE - The door lock is indicated by the lock icon at
the bottom of the display.
NOTE - The door lock does NOT activate during pre-
heating, the maintenance cycles for an unlimited time
and while waiting for a delayed cooking.
You can temporarily disable the door lock by pressing
ENTER for a few seconds and entering the password
set.
The door lock will re-activate by pressing “ENTER”
again for a few seconds, it also restarts automatically
after 30 seconds of its deactivation (if the door is not
open).
NOTE - If you enter the password twice the number
compared to that set in parameter 178, this operation
disables the door lock for the entire cooking cycle in
progress. It will reactivate only upon the next cooking
cycle.
NOTE - It is possible to make so that the door lock
does not activate automatically at the start of cooking,
but only manually by pressing “ENTER” for a few
seconds by the operator.
This setting is defined by the parameter P231. by
default P231 is set to 0 (automatic door lock), setting
it to 1 the door lock activation will only take place in
manual mode.
