nel supporto B e bloccare le ma-
niglie D e E .
4.6 DISPOSITIVO A COPIARE-
INSTALLAZIONE
Il dispositivo a copiare se
acquistato con la macchina è
gia' montato e registrato dai
tecnici SCM .Per un buon
funzionamento è consigliato
effettuare le registrazioni di
seguito indicate solo in caso di
assoluta necessità o nel caso in
cui il dispositivo a copiare venga
acquistato separatamente.
Tenere accostato il corpo princi-
pale del carro A (fig. 7) alla guida
del bancale e, appoggiata la chiu-
sura B, avvitare le quattro viti C;
così facendo si vincola tutto il grup-
po alla guida.
Il contatto tra carro e guida è rea-
lizzato attraverso pattini di speciale
materiale antifrizione.
Alcuni di questi pattini sono mon-
tati su supporti che permettono la
registrazione.
Questa registrazione serve per ri-
durre al minimo i giochi fra il grup-
po e la guida.
Ovviamente si deve arrivare al
migliore compromesso fra questa
eliminazione e l’ottenimento di un
movimento non troppo duro.
La registrazione si effettua per
mezzo degli 8 grani G (fig. 7) che
agiscono sui supporti sum-
menzionati.
A registrazione ultimata si blocca-
no i grani con i rispettivi dadi.

TOOL MOUNT -
INSTALLATION
– Place the jamming device A as
is shown in figure 6.
– Insert the support B in the jam-
ming device A.
– Assemble the tool mount C in
the support B securing it with
the handles D and E.
4.6
THE COPYING DEVICE
INSTALLING
If purchased together with the
machine, the copying device is
already mounted and adjusted
by SCM technicians. For good
functioning it is recommended to
carry out the adjustments
indicated below only when
absolutely necessary or in case
the copying device is purchased
separately.
Keep the main part of the carriage
A (fig. 7) near the base guideways.
Position the mounting plate B and
then tighten the four bolts C. As a
result, the whole assembly will be
attached to the guideways.
The carriage and the guideway are
joined together by sliding blocks
made of special anti-friction mate-
rial.
Some of these blocks are installed
on the mounts which allow the parts
to be adjusted.
This adjustment should minimize
the backlash between the assem-
bly and the guide.
In any case, the amount of allow-
able backlash should be deter-
mined so that the movements are
smooth an easy to perform.
Adjustment is carried out tighten-
ing or loosening the 8 dowels G
(fig. 7) acting on the above men-
tioned mounts.
Once the adjustment has been com-
pleted, secure the bolts with the
respective nuts.
