4-3. Selection of calibration method
The procedure is different according to the using condition and presence of weight as for [Step
7 ZERO calibration] and [Step 8 SPAN calibration].
●
Calibration of ZERO
In the normal using condition, ZERO calibration by measuring value (Actual load calibration)
is executed.
The ZERO is registered by reading the load cell output value with the tare or the
corresponding weight put on the weighing part.
To execute the ZERO calibration by numeric input (Electric calibration) is only when CSD-
892-73 under using is replaced with another CSD-892-73, and moreover, only when the
following requirement is applied.
・
When ZERO calibration data (mV/V value) of CSD-892-73 at the previous condition of the
replacement remain.
・
When you cannot set in the condition that nothing is put on the measuring part (Initial
condition including tare).
●
Calibration of SPAN
The span calibration (Actual load calibration) with the weight is executed when there is a
weight. Please prepare 2/3 of more of weighing capacity to reduce the calibration error.
When there is no weight, the span calibration by numeric input (Electrical calibration) is
executed.
4-4. Fine adjustment and re-calibration of calibration
●
Fine adjustment of ZERO and SPAN
This function is to execute the
fi
ne adjustment of ZERO and SPAN when there is an error
margin in an actual weighing value and the mass of weight.
Please refer to [4-7.]
●
Calibration only for ZERO
This function is to execute the re-calibration of ZERO when the tare outside the weighing
capacity of measuring part changes. Please refer to [4-9.].
●
Simple calibration
This function is to execute the immediate shift to a setting screen and a calibration screen of
each item when the re-calibration is required by the change of a measuring part chie
fl
y.
Please refer to [4-10.].
4-5. Item set if necessary after a calibration
●
Digital linearize
This function is to reduce a measuring error by compensating the 3 points at maximum
excluding ZERO and SPAN. Please refer to [4-8].
●
Gravity acceleration correction (C function : CF-25,CF-26)
This function is to compensate the SPAN error by setting the gravity acceleration of different
2(two) places for the calibration place and using place. Please refer to [6-12.].
•
The accuracy of calibration by the numeric input is about 1/1 000. Please execute
the calibration when the accuracy of 1/1000 or more is required.
