Printing direction [DIRECTION]
This function sets the direction of printing.
The plotter prints an image while moving the carriage right and left. By setting the direction of
printing, it is possible to adjust the image quality and the printing speed: “Uni-directional” and
“Bi-directional.”
UNI-D :
The image is printed only in one direction during movement of the carriage.
Image quality is better than when BI-D is specified.
BI-D
:
The image is printed in both directions during movement of the carriage.
Image quality slightly deteriorates since emphasis is placed on printing carriage.
STEPS:
1.
Select a type. (see page 3.)
Here, select [Type.1].
2.
Press the [ENTER ] key.
3.
Press the JOG keys [ ] and [ ] to select [PRINT
MODE].
4.
Press the [ENTER] key.
5.
Press the JOG keys [ ] and [ ] to set a printing
direction [DIRECTION] .
6.
Press the [ENTER] key.
7.
Press the JOG keys [ ] and [ ] to set a printing
direction [UNI-D] or [BI-D].
Here, select [UNI-D].
8.
Press the [ENTER] key.
9.
Press the [END] key three times.
The menu returns to the LOCAL mode.
