Setting the machine name [MACHINE NAME]
When connecting multiple printers with USB2.0 interface to the computer, machine name can
be set for the printer identification.
Register the machine name as “DS-XX” (XX is machine No.) Set the machine No. between
01 to 99.
STEPS:
1. Select the [MACHINE SET] from the [MAINTE-
NANCE].
(See page 4.3)
2. Press the [ENTER] key.
3. Press the [ENTER] key again.
Current machine name is displayed.
4. Press the JOG keys [ ] and [ ] to select the
machine number (01 to 99).
5. Press the [ENTER] key.
Return to the previous menu.
6. Press the [END] key three times.
The menu returns to the LOCAL mode.
