7. TROUBLESHOOTING THE MacroVIEW
To use the MacroView 5 software correctly, you must have complete access (reading, writing and editing) to
the following folders (with Windows 10):
- C:\Program Files (x86)\Milestone srl\MacroView5\
-
C:\Program Files (x86)\Milestone srl\MacroView5\AndroidLib
- C:\Users\”Name of the users”\AppData\Local\Milestone_srl
- C:\ProgramData\Milestone srl\MacroPath5\APPDATA
7.1. Camera malfunctions
Perform the following procedure gradually.
• Exit from MacroView software.
• Switch off the camera using the specific button.
• Wait a few seconds and switch it back on.
• Wait a few seconds, when the camera is turned on, look in the monitor where you will see what the
camera is framing and re-enter the software.
If the problem persists:
• Exit from MacroView software.
• Switch off the camera using the specific button.
• Switch off the PC.
• Wait at least 5 seconds.
• Turn on the PC.
• Wait a few seconds and switch the camera back on.
• Wait a few seconds, when the camera is turned on, look in the monitor where you will see what the
camera is framing and re-enter the software.
If the problem persists, contact your local dealer.
7.2. The Touch Pen is not working
If the pointer does not work when you touch the screen, try changing the USB port.
If the problem continues, restart the PC.
If the touch-pen continues not working, you will need to reinstall the relevant drivers contained in the USB
key with MacroView 5 Software as per the following instructions:
1) Disconnect the touch-pen from the USB port
2) Open the “Touch Pen Drivers” folder and follow the information provided in the “instructions” file:
- Open folder “eGalaxWorks31xx~4378-01_test1-20180606-Getac-19inch-system” and run file
“eGalaxSensorTester3.exe” to start installation
- Do not touch the screen during installation.
- Connect the Touch-pen to the USB port and start using it
If it still is not working, contact customer support.
