3.4. Overview of the main functions
MacroVIEW functions are grouped into 4 areas: FILES, LIVE, EDIT and SETTINGS.
AREA ALLOWED FUNCTIONS
FILES Browse, delete, add a tag to the case, present existing cases, generate reports
LIVE Save images, videos and audio files and add a tag to the case
EDIT Edit the thumbnails (saved images, audios and videos)
SETTINGS Change the software settings
The following screen is available only for MacroVIEW complete software (but not for the Viewer).
A SW STATUS Shows the status/mode of the software.
B LOG IN Shows the current user and allows user to log out by pressing it.
C EXIT To exit from MacroVIEW application and go back to the PC operating system.
D CASE NAME Shows the name of the current case.
E LIVE Allows returning to live camera image of sample.
F THUMBNAIL
FILTERS
Allows you to filter the thumbnails (images, audios and videos).
G CAMERA BUTTON To turn the camera on/off by pressing it and open the camera settings
window (by holding it down a few seconds).
H MAIN SCREEN Samples observation area (when live) and photographs and videos
observation area when in EDIT area.
I ZOOM and
STATUS BAR
Click the mouse or directly on the touch screen to zoom in/out as you wish
(seven levels are available, from 0% to 100%). This function can also be
done with the manipulator.
L CASE # Case code entry area: by means of barcode or keyboard.
M ENTER Press this button to manually enter the case code.
