3. If the operator closes the MacroVIEW window during the Twain session by pressing “X” on the status
bar, the window closes immediately and the open Twain session is no longer managed. All the images
that must be transferred could be lost.
In “Settings - Third party” you may select Enable Twain acquisition to import images from an external
imaging acquisition device (such as a microscope, not included). The device must be Twain to transmit the
images to MacroVIEW.
If enabled, a new icon “From Twain” appears on the main screen.
A MacroVIEW case must be open to use the “Acquisition from Twain” button. An image will be imported in
the case. Measurements will not be possible on this image by using the calibration of the camera (if present).
You can also customize the "Close" button in the "Customize exit button for already running processes"
section: add the program name to be highlighted under "Process", import the .png image to be replaced with
that of the Exit button in "Image" and enter the name you want to give to the new button under "Label".
When the "Exit" button is pressed, the program will be highlighted (only in cases where it has been
previously minimized on the status bar).
To activate any setting performed in the "Settings-Third party" page, press Save at the bottom on the right-
hand side of the Settings page.
