Loading examples.
Upper basket.
For small, lightweight, or delicate items
such as cups, saucers, glasses, des-
sert bowls, etc. and also heat sensitive
plastic ware.
Bottom basket.
For larger and heavier items such as
plates, serving platters and saucepans.
Glasses should only be placed in the
bottom basket if the special glassware
insert is used.
The plate inserts on the left and right
rear of the lower basket are removable.
To remove, push the handles of both in-
serts toward the inside of the basket.
Once removed, the open area can ac-
commodate large pots, casserole
dishes, or accessory inserts (see “Ac-
cessories”).
Height limit
The height guard at the base of the
upper basket is there to protect the
middle spray arm. No object placed in
the lower basket should stand higher
than this guard.
