Tone Description
On
The melody is played 1x when the appliance is switched on, and can be
switched off as a separate option (greeting).
Off
The melody is played 1x when the appliance is switched off. This melody
can be deactivated.
Fault
This melody is played to indicate a fault which is described in detail in the
display. It repeats every 2.5 s until the fault is remedied. This melody
cannot be switched off (not even with nighttime shutoff) and always plays
at maximum volume.
Program
interruption
This melody is played 1x when a program is interrupted and can be
deactivated.
Start
This melody is played 1x at the start of a program and can be deactivated.
Program end
This melody is played upon completion of a program. It is repeated up to
6x, with a 30 s pause in between. This melody can be deactivated.
Timer/alarm
(SK)
This melody is played when the timer/alarm has elapsed. It is repeated up
to 180x, with a 5 s pause in between. This melody cannot be switched off.
Info
This melody is played 1x upon displaying an informational message or
pressing the
Info
button. This melody can be deactivated.
Temperature
reached
This melody is played 1x when the set temperature for the appliance has
been reached. This melody can be deactivated.
Negative tone
This melody is played 1x when an “empty” button (a button without an
assigned function) is pressed. This melody can be deactivated.
Positive tone
This melody is played 1x when a button is pressed. This melody can be
deactivated.
Exception:
The tone for the "on/off" button cannot be
deactivated!

When adjusting the volume, each level is signaled with a
tone. If a button is pressed & held, e.g., for setting values or for scrolling,
the tone will play only 1x.

When tones are deactivated in general, the on/off tone will play with the last-selected
volume before tones were switched off. When tones are activated in general, it will play
with the current volume setting; this corresponds to standard EN 60335-1 for persons in
need of protection.
