Push the adjusting ring of the ribbon supply shaft towards the
ribbon roll.

Then turn the adjusting ring of the
ribbon supply shaft
clockwise to
increase
the
ribbon tension
, while you hold
the ribbon roll with the other hand.

Check that the ribbon has no folds and is running straight.
Optimize your adjustment of the ribbon tension, if need be.
Check to see that slack and wrinkles on the ribbon are removed
completely. Do not be afraid to ’waste’ a little extra ribbon to
ensure the ribbon is running correctly and wrinkle-free.
