If you need to remove also the brake cover (26), take the oil seal off its seat. Once removed, before mounting it back, please verify
that the oil seal is not damaged and eventually replace it with a new one.
Oil seal
To reassemble the brake hand release proceed backwards. When mounting the
unlocking hand brake lever (128), be sure to leave an airgap between the lever and
the brake cover.

Distance between brake cover and brake hand release lever
NOTE: The distance between the brake cover (26) and the hand release lever (43) tends to decrease with the brake
disc wear. Please check that the distance between the brake cover (26) and the hand release (43) is in the range
between 0.7÷1.1 mm. Without that distance, the brake correct functioning is not guaranteed.
Encoder disassembly and/or its replacement (only for BAHE, BAHXE series motors).
To remove the encoder pls follow the instructions here below:
