When the two plugs are removed screw the two brake release screws (131).
Check that no load is applied to the drive shaft before releasing the brake.
Please remember to remove the two brake release screws to restore the correct functioning of the brake. For safety
reasons, after every maintenance operation the maintenance responsible must store the brake release screws.
Unlocking brake hand release (optional)
Upon request, it is possible to manually release the brake by operating the Hand Release Lever.
The unlocking of the brake occurs by operating a hand release lever.
Check that no load is applied to the drive shaft before releasing the brake.
Unlocking brake hand release removal
To remove the unlocking brake hand release unscrew the brake release locknut (129) for sizes 225-280, while unscrew the brake
hand release locking screws (132) for sizes 132-200.

Take the unlocking hand brake lever (128) off the hand brake release screws (118).
