Precision calibration procedure continued
10.
Apply the calibration tension to the load cells on channel
2 entered in parameter 0x21A. The calibration roll weight
on channel 1 can either be there or not. If using a
temporary web such as a rope, the rope should be
centered on the roller and the wrap angle must be the
same as the actual web.
11.
Enter the command 0x05 (Precision Calibrate Zone 2) in
the
Command Request
. The DLCA NET-S1 immediately
responds with 0x8000 0005 (Busy) in the
Command
Response
.
If the calibrate precision is successful, the DLCA NET-S1
will respond with 0x1000 0005 after 10 to 20 seconds.
Otherwise an error message will be returned 0x20XX 0005.
12.
Clear the
Command Request
register by entering the
command 0x00.
13.
Apply the calibration roll weight to channel 1 and
calibration web tension to channel 2.
14.
Enter the command 0x21 (Calibrate Gain 3) in the
Command Request
. The DLCA NET-S1 immediately
responds with 0x8000 0021 (Busy) in the
Command
Response
.
If the calibrate gain 3 is successful, the DLCA NET-S1 will
respond with 0x1000 0021 after 10 to 20 seconds.
Otherwise an error message will be returned 0x20XX 0021.
15.
Clear the
Command Request
register by entering the
command 0x00.
Clearing the command request is necessary to prevent
starting multiple calibrations, such as Zero and Precision,
before the first entered request is finished.
Precision calibration procedure is now complete.
See page 58 to view parameters set by the calibration
procedure.
To resolve errors, refer to Table 3 on page 59.
