Side cardan shafts
The side shafts transmit drive from the central transmission unit
to the two side reducers.
These cardan shafts are without shear bolt. The protection of the
transmission parts is assured by the cam clutch of the central pto
shaft.
WARNING
- Take great care to position the forks on the central fi nal drive
side (A fi g.19) whenever cleaning, replace-ments or work on
the side drivelines are carried out.
- Lastly, check the position of the drivelines with shear bolt.
They must be mounted diametrically opposite to each other
to prevent the machine from being unbalanced and from
producing vibrations during work (B fi g.19).
- Also make sure that the driveline’s safety chains are always
fi xed to the pre-engineered points on the tractor and on the
body of the machine so as to prevent the protections from
turning.
