Replace all filters within the specified intervals if cleaning is not explicitly
permitted.
Always replace all gaskets before assembly. Clean the sealing surfaces.
Replace hydraulic hoses immediately once damage or moisture penetration
becomes visible.
Make sure that the hydraulic hose lines are replaced at the prescribed intervals
even if there are no noticeable defects regarding safety.
Escaping hydraulic fluid or compressed air can cause severe injury. Bear in mind
that the hydraulic and compressed air systems of the truck crane are pressurised
even when the truck crane is not in operation. Therefore, only tighten loose bolts
and other connections when the systems are depressurised. Always depressur-
ise the hydraulic and compressed air systems before opening them.
Make sure to follow the instructions in the maintenance manual relating to
corrosion protection of the hydraulic cylinders.
Cleanliness is imperative when handling hydraulic oil. Even when topping up with
fresh hydraulic oil, it must be filtered.
Check fastening and retaining elements (bolts, nuts, lock washers etc.) before
reusing them and replace them if necessary.
Observe the information on the torques and on the special torques for your truck
crane;

Cleanliness is imperative when handling grease for the central lubrication sys-
tem. Do not remove the caps from the filling hole and grease gun until immedi-
ately before refilling the grease.
Keep the brake pads and clutch linings free of grease.
Restore the operational stability of the truck crane once maintenance work is
completed. Inform the crane operator accordingly.
The vehicle must meet all applicable current regulations before being put
into operation and driven on public roads.
